Reuben Seldon Ware

        died Lafayette County, Wisconsin

Reuben was born April 17, 1805. He was married to a young lady named Elizabeth in Virginia about 1826/27.  Their child John G. was born there in 1828. By 1830 Reuben and Elizabeth had moved to Wisconsin.  Their son Theodore was born there in 1831, Virginia was born in 1834, and William in 1846. In 1850 the family is living in Lafayette County, Wisconsin, and Reuben is a miner in a town called New Diggings.
           Reuben's brother, James D. Ware, a planter of Hinds County, Mississippi, died in 1853, and generously left the sum of $3,000 to Reuben and his family, to be paid Jonah Marvin, Esq., as trustee, to be invested by said Marvin in the purchase of a house for my said brother's family.
           In 1860, Theodore Ware is living in Downieville, Sierra, California. He is 28 years old, unmarried.
           In 1880 Theodore is living in Butte, Sierra, California, is 47, and lives alone.
